Auraria v1.5.0-a
This release adds sound to a lot of moments that were silent before, makes colored gear something you’ll actually have to earn, and cleans up a batch of fixes to hearty meals, dungeons, autopilot, and fishing.
New
- Sound effects now play for picking up loot, chopping, mining, gathering, and fishing, crafting (including a distinct sound for a failed attempt), levelling up, and incoming chat messages. They all follow your existing SFX volume slider.
- Colored gear is rarer now. The score needed to reach uncommon and above has been raised across every tier, so plain, lightly-enchanted low-level items read as common white, and reaching uncommon, rare, epic, legendary, or mythic takes a strong base item, several powerful affixes, or both.
Fixes
- Hovering an enchanted book in the enchanter now shows its tooltip, just like hovering it anywhere else.
- Hearty meals now heal you back to your new max HP gradually over about ten seconds instead of instantly topping you off, and can no longer be re-eaten to chain free heals.
- Dungeon rooms now hold 4-6 enemies instead of a flat 8, with the count varying room to room, and a room you clear stays cleared for the rest of the run instead of enemies trickling back in.
- Autopilot no longer marches you to a node your tool is too weak (or entirely unsuited) to work, and skips nodes that have already been picked clean until they replenish.
- Fishing’s catch chance on a bare hook drops from 40% to 15%. Bait and level bonuses stack on top the same as before.
